1. Discovering

Ask students to look at the following sentences, paying attention to the underlined part.

Ask students to go back to page 18 to read the passage and let them try to pick out all the sentences in present perfect passive voice and translate them into Chinese.

2. Thinking and discussing

Let students look at the tense used in the sentence they picked out and think over this questions:

What is the structure of the present perfect passive voice?

Students are allowed to discuss the question in groups.

3. Summarizing

The structure of the present perfect passive voice is “ have/has been+过去分词”.

It’s a combination of the present perfect tense(have/has+done) and the passive voice(be +过去分词）

Ask students to finish exercise2 on P21: Change the following sentences into present Answers: （1）were held

（3）will be allowed

（4）Will be punished
