T: It's a party. Who is the surprise party for? Guess. S: It's for Li Ming. T: Yes, it's a party for Li Ming. 【设计意图】围绕图片展开讨论，在师生的交流中让学生对文本故事内容进行猜测，培养学生发散思维并揭示课题。

Listen and answer the questions T: Where is Li Ming now? S: He is learning English in Canada. T: Why do they have a party? Will they tell Li Ming about the party?听课文文本前两幅图录音，鼓励学生找出问题的答案。学习tell一词，tell一词可由well一词导入学习。
