Teaching aims：

The attributive clauses with that/ which/ who/ where/ when. Focus：

Enable Ss to know how to use the relatives that/ which/ who/ where/ when properly. Teaching steps：

Step 1: Dictation 10 words and expressions taken from the text Step 2: Grammar T introduces a sentence taken from the reading passage: This gift was the Amber Room, which was given this name because almost seven thousand tons of amber were used to make it. T lets Ss find out more similar attributive clauses from Warming up, Pre-reading and Reading, and then asks some Ss to explain them. T explains the rules of Restrictive and Non-restrictive clauses(见教材P85-86). Step 3: Practice 1. T asks some Ss to do these exercises on the blackboard: P4 Ex2 1, 3, 5 P4 Ex3 1, 3, 5 P43 Using structures 1, 3, 5, 7 2. 完成《学生用书》“课课练”有关练习
