教学过程

一、Warming up Watch a video.(The students are playing football.) Free talk T: What are they doing ? Ss:They’re playing football. T: Look at Xu Junfeng ,he’s a football goalkeeper. Ss: Yes . 二、Presentation

1.师生对话，导入故事。

T: Do you like football? S: Yes, I do.

T: Do you want to be a goalkeeper? S: Yes, I do. Today we will learn Unit 1 How tall are you ? C Story time Zoom and Zip need a new goalkeeper,the animals want to have a try. Now let’s read the story. 2.学生阅读故事，了解故事大意。

T:

How many kinds of animals want to have a try ? Ss: Five . T:

Who are they ? Ss: Zebra ,deer ,giraffe,dog and hippo.

3.教师播放课文flash,要求学生边看边思考：

Q1. How tall is deer? How heavy is deer? Q2. Who is tallest of all? Q3. Who is an excellent goalkeeper? 4.

Ask the students to answer the questions. 5.

Play the tape , ask the students to listen and follow . 6. Ask the students to read the story. 三、Practice 1. Read the story again,find the comparative sentences. (读故事，找出文中含有比较级的句子。) 2.
