Step 1: Revision 1) Sing a song. 2) Sing a chant.(设计意图:通过唱歌谣激活学生的旧知。)
Step 2: Presentation 1)T: Look! How's the weather?(白板呈现图片)
Ss:It's hot. Ss: It's cold.(在学生回答的过程中渗透学习新单词) T:It’s hot today. I have a good idea .Shall we go swimming? Ss: Good idea.(在创编chant的过程中深化go swimming的学习) 2)T:It's hot in summer. How's the weather in winter? Ss:It's cold. (设计意图:通过夏、冬天气的对比,让学生对新单词有深刻的印象。) T:I have some drink and some ice. For example: water,milk,orange
S1:water Ss:cold water(利用白板的图片让学生开口练习cold) Step 3:Look and say Look at the video about the dialogue. Students listen and read the dialogue. Students act out the dialogue in pairs. After the show, students make up their own dialogues using the new sentences.(设计意图:学生先练习本课的对话,掌握本课的知识,在此基础之上表演新对话,进一步理解和掌握本节课的重点句型。) Step 4:Practice 1)Play a game: To be a weather reporter(请学生用英文播报天气,让学生乐于参与。) 2)Learn a new chant(设计意图:通过小游戏再次调动学生学习的积极性,同时游戏和chant也进一步巩固了本课的重难点。)
Step 5:Summary Summarize what we have learnt today.(设计意图:通过小结的这个环节再次让学生明确本课的重难点。) Step 6:Homework: 1) Recite the dialogue. 2) Retell the lesson. 六、板书设计 (Blackboard design) Lesson 21 hot cold It’s cold today.
