一、教学内容

Part C Story time

二、教学目标

1. 能够读懂、理解Story time部分的故事。

2. 能够从故事中注意到动词过去,现在,将来的变化。

3. 能够从英语故事的学习中增强保护环境的意识。

三、教学重难点

重点:理解故事内容;能够朗读、表演故事。

难点:能够正确运用一般过去时和一般现在时进行地球过去和现在的对比描述。四、教学准备

多媒体课件、课文情景动画、录音机、磁带。

五、教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up

播放歌曲“Changed in me”学生跟唱。

Step 2 播放视频《保护地球》

视频中展示地球的变化,以前的地球,现在的地球......

Step 3 新课展示

(1)教师介绍文本背景。

(2)播放课件,学生根据短语提示,粗读,了解故事梗概。如:

T: Zoom and Zip are reading a magazine. What is the magazine about?

学生自由回答,教师总结:

T: The magazine is about the past, the present and the future of the cooking, of the environment and of the whales.

(3) 教师播放Story time板块的录音,学生跟读2遍。

(4) 学生以小组为单位,自由选择三项中的一项进行展示汇报。

Ex. Cavemen often ate raw meat.They didn’t cook their food.

There are many things to help you cook.

In 2050,there will be house robots.They will cook,clean and wash the dishes. 课件图片对比

There were many trees, and there were many clean rivers.

Now,there are more and more buildings.

发出呼声:We should help the earth now,so birds will have homes and the forests will be healthy and green again.

鲸的过去,现在,将来

Before humans lived on the earth,whales already lived in the sea.

Now,there are not many whales.

If we change now,whales and humans will have a bright future.

(5) 播放Story time部分的录音,学生反复跟读,模仿语音语调,感受故事情境。分男女生两组朗读课文。

Step 4 Consolidation and extension

1. 快乐展示:说说以前的我

每个同学准备一张自己以前的照片,运用句型⑴I was(not)… ⑵I liked/didn’t like…⑶I could(not)…在真实的语境中运用一般过去时谈论以前的自己。

2. 快乐展示:说说以前的他/她

每个同学准备一张自己以前的照片,照片在小组内交换,每个同学用句型⑴He/She was(not)… ⑵He/She liked/didn’t like…⑶He/She could(not)在小组内运用一般过去时谈论照片上的同学。
