Unit 4 Hobbies

Lesson1 教学设计

绵阳市青义小学—刘萍

教学目标：

1.能够听懂会说hobby、reading、doing jigsaw puzzles、singing and dancing、skateboarding、making models 、making models、collecting erasers等描述兴趣爱好的单词和短语；能够根据语境恰当使用它们，并能够借助规律认读并识记单词和短语。

2.能够通过What’s his/her

hobby?

He/She likes…句型交流、了解他人的兴趣爱好

3.能够听懂、会说用来询问某人兴趣爱好的功能句：What are your hobbies? I like … 并能简单介绍自己的爱好。

教学重难点：

1.

本课doing jigsaw puzzles、skateboarding、collecting erasers等单词短语较长较复杂

2.

能用He/She likes…流利的介绍他人的爱好

3.

能用What are your hobbies? I like … 句型交流并能介绍自己和自己的爱好。

教学流程：

Step1:Warming up

（设计意图：热身活动，通过剪刀石头布变出动物蜗牛snail，章鱼

devilfish和兔子rabbit，为后面跳兔子舞做铺垫）

rabbit dance (设计目的：活跃气氛，为后面的爱好做铺垫) Step2: Presentation 一．

T: Boys and girls , do you like dancing ?

P: …

T: I like dancing , because it makes me happy. (PPT)

T: And I like hopping, playing the piano ,riding a bike, playing basketball ,playing yoyo . (Then show a yoyo) T: I often play yoyo with my son at home .I like playing yoyo very much .It’s my hobby. Do you know hobby? (设计意图:通过hopping, playing the piano ,riding a bike, playing basketball ,playing yoyo 标注红色字母，并由红色字母逐一跳出h-o-b-b-y，组合成单词hobby)

2. hobbies

Look and point at the PPT and say: Playing yoyo is my hobby, and they are my hobbies.

Show and guess my favorite hobby (设计意图：增加悬念，调动孩子的好奇心；通过拼拼图的方式设置课堂评价，同时与本课所要教学的单词doing jigsaw puzzles 相呼应) 二．1. PPT show some famous people’s hobbies

T: I have many hobbies, now I want to know some other people’s

hobbies. T: Who is she/he?

P:She/He is... T: Could you please tell me “What’s her/his hobby?”

He/She likes…，然后正确运用句型问答出邓亚萍，孙杨的爱好，然后为后面新知的问答做铺垫) 三．PPT shows to Let students learn new words and sentences 1. show new words and sentences T:Now ,I have some friends .Look,they are coming. Who are they? P:They are Bill,Mike,Binbin,Joy,Lily and Andy. T:I want to know their hobbies.Do you want to know their hobbies? Open your books and turn to page 38,look,listen and underline their hobbies.

T:What’s Bill’s hobby?

P:He likes doing jigsaw puzzles. Listen,check and practise reading the new word.

2. review all the new words by reading and then play “bomb games”

(设计意图：通过阅读所有新单词了解孩子们的学习情况，然后通过炸弹游戏活跃气氛，调动孩子们的积极性，训练学生的注意力和反应，并能及时巩固复习新单词) 4.

T:She likes singsing and dancing ....... (设计意图：新单词短语和句型相运用，练习巩固) Step3．Let students do a “Hobby show”

T: I have a friend. She is Amy.She wants to share her bobby with us. Let ‘s watch the video

T asks some questions :1.How old is Amy?

3. What’s Amy’s hobby? 4.Is she good at it?

(设计意图:通过的Amy的自我介绍示范，让学生学会介绍自己以及自己的爱好) 3.work in groups to share hobbies with photos 4. hobby show

Ask a student to introduce her/his hobbies on the stage, teacher should put the photos on the blackboard and then let the student to show his/her hobbies. (设计意图：让学生用英语流利的介绍自己，旧知和新知相结合，培养孩子的英语综合能力，并让孩子大胆的展示自己的爱好，树立孩子的自信) Step4．Reading Text

T:I have another friend.He is Bob.He wants to show his hobby with us, too.Let’s go and see. 1.

check the answers （设计意图：培养和训练学生阅读能力，同时也承上启下，为后面好爱好做铺垫）

Step5．Conclusion

Show a picture of good hobbies and bad hobbies and then tell students “Good hobbies ,better life.”

（设计意图：让学生说出一些好的爱好和不良爱好，教育孩子们远离不良爱好，引出好爱好，好未来的情感教育）

(设计意图: 通过拼图评价拼出教师最喜欢的爱好是读英语，加深孩子们对英语的认识和喜爱)
