教材分析：

这是本单元的第三节课，涵盖两部分内容：词汇学习与本单元语法学习。词汇部分的三个练习题采用层层递进的设题模式，从训练学生对词汇意义的掌握到将词汇活用于上下文中，再到根据本单元主题将词汇进行整合分类。这种设计思路有助于加强学生对本单元单个词汇间语义联系的掌握。语法部分的练习分为三个层次：即发现、认识形式操练形式运用形式，通过由浅及深的练习设计让学生在自己发现探究的过程中学习、运用并掌握现在进行时的被动语态。通过开放式的语法练习，加强学生对于这种时态的实际运用能力。

教学目标：

（1）语言与能力目标

Help students grasp the uses of some key words and phrases by doing more practice. Master the uses of The Present Continuous Passive Voice.

（2）情感目标

Let students to learn and master the uses of the some key words and phrases by cooperation. To help the students to realize the importance of wildlife protection and to protect nature.

教学重点难点：

教学策略：

自主学习：指导学生课前自主学习有与本课时有关的内容。

合作学习：小组合作讨论以掌握重点词汇的用法以及现在进行时的被动语态

任务型教学：引导学生在发现探究的过程中学习、运用并掌握现在进行时的被动语态。

教学过程：（Teaching Procedures）

Step One: Revision Read the vocabulary of Unit 4 again. Ask some students to revise the story in “Reading” by doing a certain practice.

. Check the answers to the homework. Step Two: Discovering useful structure 1.

Show Ss the following sentences, then ask Ss to change them into Passive Voice 1) They are producing this new drug.

→This new drug is being produced by them.

2) An antelope is looking at her.

→She is being looked by an antelope.

3) They are killing us for the wool.

→We are being killed for the wool by them.

4)They are destroying the farm.

→The farm is being destroyed by them.

5) They have found their missing child.

→Their missing child has been found. 1

Explain the Present Progressive Passive Voice. 现在进行时的被动语态：结构：am / are / is + being done

eg. The question is being discussed at the meeting.

The life of the Milu deer is being studied at present. 4.

Further explanation of the Present Progressive Passive Voice. 主动语态变被动语态的“三变”、“三不变”

“三变”:

原句主语变为by短语

宾语变为主语

谓语由主动变为被动

“三不变”:

原句意思不变

原句时态不变

原句主谓宾以外成分不变

例如：They are building nine parks.

→Nine parks are being built by them.

→How many parks are being built?

They are building a new hospital now.

→ A new hospital is being built now. 3)

I am not doing my homework.
