Unit3 Australia This unit’s topic is Australia. It focuses on getting the students to learn about Australia from some aspects. It first introduces the Analysis of physical features and ecology of Australia and its political the teaching organization, then introduces a citizenship ceremony, two rail material journeys, and then two famous tourist attractions. It is hoped that through the passage, the Ss will know more about Australia and

learn how to introduce a place.

The students have basic reading and speaking abilities, but they are at different levels of English fluency. So during the lesson, I arrange Analysis of a variety of activities from easy to difficult to let all of them join in the students to attract their interest and let them be confident and taste the joy of success.

本堂课主要介绍了学生们不太熟悉的澳大利亚，重点培养学生的阅读能力，同时开拓了学生的视野，了解了更多与澳大利亚相关的基本信息。因此，本课的内容非常值得阅读和掌握。另外，本文每一段都有小标题，这种文章结构经常出现在高考阅读中。因此，在本堂课的教学中，应重点强调针对这种文章的阅读方法。训练学生如何快速地了解全文大意，如何迅速找出每段段意等。在培养学生阅读能力的同时，在本堂课中，我也注重培养学生说和写的能力，以提高学生语言综合应用能力。个别学生课堂讨论参与度不高，应鼓励他们勇敢地表达自己的观点，并在今后的讨论中多多关注。
