Step 1 Lead-in

What festivals of foreign countries do you know?(Thanksgiving Day, Easter, Halloween……) Give a short passage describing a festival and let the students guess what it is. It is a festival celebrated in foreign countries, but now it has become more and more popular in China, especially for young people. It is celebrated on the 14th of February. On this day people will send and receive gifts, like roses, chocolates and so on. The theme of the festival is Love. Step 2 Warming up
