本册教材为人教版小学英语（一起）四年级下册，包含6个单元，覆盖6个话题：我的街区（My Neighbourhood）、城市（Cities）、旅行计划（Travel Plan）、爱好（Hobbies）、业余时间（Free time）和国家（Countries）。

本单元的话题为兴趣爱好。本单元第一课时通过校园小记者采访Bill和Mike的兴趣爱好的情境引出描述爱好的的单词和短语：reading，

doing jigsaw puzzles, singing and dancing, skateboarding, making models, collecting erasers，并在I like...的语境中对词汇进行巩固。

本课时在此基础上学习询问和回答爱好的功能句：What are your hobbies?

I like singing and dancing./... 主要涵盖Part A Look, listen and repeat-学习功能句。Part B Do a survey and Report-运用功能句。Part C 正确书写功能句。

已知：学生在一年级下册学习了I like ...二年级下册学习了make a model plane，三年级下册学习了sing songs, dance, read books等与本单元目标词汇相关的单词和短语。在第一课时学生已经学习了描述兴趣爱好的单词和短语reading，doing jigsaw puzzles, singing and dancing, skateboarding, making models, collecting erasers。

未知：学生将通过校园小记者和Bill, Mike的对话学习和运用句型：What are your hobbies?

I like doing jigsaw games.来询问和回答爱好。
