She is your mother or father’s sister. She and your mother or father has the same mother and father. Who is she? Draw a family tree on the board. Have students make sentences. This is my aunt. My aunt is a nurse. Teacher shows a picture of Andy Lau. T: Who is this? Ss: It’s Andy Lau.

T: Yes. He is Andy Lau. What does he do? Ss: He can sing/ He sings…

T: Yes. He sings. He is a singer. Underline the letter “au” in “aunt”. Have students learn the sound of this letter after teacher. Have students try to say out some other words with this letter. (shorts, morning, forest) III. Drill T: I can sing. I am a singer, too. Can you sing, too? Ss: Yes. T: You are singers, too. How about dancing? I can dance. I am a dancer. Can you dance, too?

Ss: Yes. T: You’re dancer, too.

Play a game. IV. Practice Play a game “Look and Guess”. Teacher holds a picture and has students read it. Then teacher has students put their cards on their desks. Teacher calls out a word, the class should pick up the word card as soon as possible.
