I Like Fruit! Teaching goals:

1.Students will be able to know seven new words:apple,orange,eleven,twelve,thirteen,fourteen,fifteen 2.Students will be able to use the sentences:

a.--What do you like?

--I like apples/oranges/pears/watermelon. b.--How many ?

--Eleven/Twelve/Thirteen/Fourteen/Fifteen. Key and

difficult 1.--What do you like? points:

--I like apples/oranges/pears/watermelon. 2.the numbers

Greeting and Revision : 1.Ask and answer.(Fruit) Lead in :

Show Ss a picture of fruit .(Ask and answer) T:When you see fruit ,are you happy or sad? Ss:Happy!

T:Me too.I can say I like fruit. New lesson: Part 1: 1.Show them the pictures of apple,orange,pear and watermelon.Teach them to read.Write the words on the blackboard.Practise the words in different methods(read in groups,lines,high and low voice,etc.).Let one student pick out fruit ,others read to check if they grasp the words or not.(通过不同的方法操练单词，学生注意力能够保持住，记忆更牢固一些。从盒子里拿出水果来检验是否掌握住，有趣味性。) 2.Listen to Part 1,ask ss questions and lead them to find the sentence “I like watermelon/apples/oranges/pears”.Let them find something different(Why don’t we add “s”to watermelon?)and explain.（采用问答法并让学生们通过听音来发现新的知识。）

Let them find the question “What do you like?”

Practise the sentence in lines or rows,pairs(Use the pictures). Role play the dialogue in groups.(Fruit stands for

the groups) Part 2: Let’s sing a song.Read the lyrics together then listen to the song and follow.(Explain the new words “yummy”

and ”delicious”)(先读歌词再跟唱，效果更好。) Part 3: Let ss see the pictures of fruit and say the plural forms of words.Ask them how to ask numbers.”How many?”

Count the numbers from one.Teach them how to read the words.Use methods to practise(Touch and say,pass the card and say,pairwork,etc.).(数数的过程既复习了以前学过的1-10，还起到了导入新数词11-15的作用。) Use a method to check if they grasp or not.(T says numbers,ss use

figures to show)(手脑并用来检验所学是否掌握。) Part 4: Let’s play a game.Explain then choose ss to play.(玩游戏加深所学数词的印象，有些难度，多练习。)

Summary: Read all the words , use the sentence to ask and answer . Consolidation: 1.What ___you like? A.do
