教学环节：

（一）. Lead in导入

1. Greeting. Today, we are going to learn how to talk about some very big wild animals. Don’t be afraid. Most of us will never see these animals in the wild. But we can see them at a zoo. （开门见山，引起学生对野生动物的兴趣。）

2. Review. 1. 老师

给学生出示图片并提问：“Is …big or not?” and the Ss answer “Big.” or “small.”

(二). New concepts Step1: 1.

tiger ，wolf, bear, snake, T: look, who is coming? 通过谜语引出tiger 在四线格里板书并领读，出示老虎的图片。

T: what do you see? I see a tiger T: is it thin? Ss: No. it’s fat.

Riddle: it’s brown or black. 学生试着猜一猜。

It’s very fat.

给出缺失的熊图片。

引出bear 板书并领读，让学生拼读，用手盖上字母“b”,帮助学生记忆。

用缺失某部位的狼图片让学生猜，引出 wolf T: look, this is a wolf. wolf, 在四线格里板书领读并安排学生不同形式的读，

强调“l”

在单词中的发音。

渗透这个单词复数的特殊变法。

用缺失某部位的蛇让学生猜，引出 snake 板书并领读snake，安排学生以不同形式朗读，拼读。

通过两只长短不一的蛇的图片，引出long和short 老师指着长的蛇：It’s long. 指着短的蛇：It’s short. 帮助学生领会long和short的含义。

之后给出高矮不一的男孩女孩图片

指着高的男孩：The boy is short。

指着矮的女孩引导学生们说：The girl is short. 复习short的不同含义。

给出大象图片和兔子图片。

T：Its nose is long. Its tail is short. （指着大象）

Its ears are long. Its tail is short.(指着兔子) 引出句型：Its … is/are …

强调its的含义为它的，以及单复数问题。

Step2: practice 1.展示多张动物图片，请同学们描述画圈的动物身体部位。

2. pair work:两人一组，选一种动物，一人描述，一人猜。

小组合作时，教师监督生用英语交流，培养学生爱说英语的习惯。

（巩固同学们对新知的掌握。）

3. Game：

准备一组带图的动物单词卡片，请一位同学站到前面来，抽一

张卡片展示给其他同学，请同学们描述这种动物，讲台前的同

学通过大家的描述猜测是哪种动物，以“Is this a …”

的句子来表达自己的猜测，如果猜对，同学们答“Yes, it is 如果答错，则同学们回答“No, it isn’t.”

（通过游戏的方式激发学生的学习兴趣，增强学生的综合表达能力。）

Step3: Conclusion 让学生说说这节课都学到了什么，而后老师进行点评，请学生跟着图片将新学的单词再读一遍，并跟着收音机朗读课文。
