Step 1 .Greeting. Give the standard command greeting ti welcome the students to the English class.For example :Good afternoon class! I’m happy to see you again.Ask them to walk around and spend a few minutes looking at the posted animal pictures and the surveys. Step 2:New

Concepts: 1.What’s this ? Ask the students to open their books to page 8.Look at the top of the page .Point to the horse and say :What’s this ?It’s a horse .Repeat twice then ask the students to repeat after me.Look at the picture on the right and say:What’s this?It’s a rabbit.Repeat as above,giving the students time to listen and repeat. Demonstrate running.As I run ,say :I can run .Ask the students to repeat after me.Ask for a volunteers to come to the front.Ask :Can you run ? 2. Can a horse run ? Look at part 3on page 9 in the student book.Play the audiotape twice as I follow along.Then ask two students to come forward.One student is LiMing,the other is Danny .Help the students read the dialogue,then ask them to act it out for the class.
