1．课文分析

本课是冀教版《学英语》（三年级起点）三年级下册Unit2 Lesson8 Tigers and Bears 主要要内容为新词汇：tiger，wolf，bear， snake，long，Short 句子为It＇ s long． It＇ s short 本课以前面的知识为基础，让学生学会新的词汇，提高听说技能，学生会用习得来谈论动物。

2．学生分析

三年级学生天真可爱，活泼好动。他们在一个学期的英语学习中积累了部分句子和单词，并对英语学习产生了浓厚的兴趣。在本节课内容之前，学生已经学过一些表示动物名称和描述动物外貌特征的词汇，他们还接触过What＇ s this？ Is it a？It＇s．句型。这些知知知识都可以充实本节课的教学内容。

一、教学目标：

1. 知识目标：

(1)学习动物词汇wolf ,tiger ,bear, snake;描述动物特征的词汇long , short.

(2)会唱英语歌：Big and Small

2. 能力目标：

(1)能够听、说、读、写wolf ,tiger ,bear, snake;;认识并能听、说long , short.

(2)会唱英语歌：Big and Small (3)能够在真实情境中运用本课所学知识与人交流。

3. 情感目标：

(1)保持学生持久的英语学习兴趣。

(2)教育学生热爱大自然，保护动物。

录音机、动物卡片，自制幻灯片。

Step1.Warming-up and Revision

Greetings and Free Talk

T: Hello! Boys and girls.

S: Hello! Teacher.

T: Do you like animals?

S: Yes, we like animals.

T: Look at the screen and say the name of the animals quickly.

Let’s see who is fast and correct? (大屏幕快速出现动物图片，引导学生们说出它们的名字cat, chicken, cow, dog, duck, goat, pig, sheep,复习以前学过的动物词汇，同时自然导入下一环节的教学)

T: Yon are excellent. Where do they live?

S: On a farm.

T: I know some animals, they don’t live on a farm, and they live in a zoo

Step2.Presentation and Practice

1.T:Today let’s learn some animals at the zoo. Look, this is a zoo. Listen carefully, who is coming?

(大屏幕上呈现动物园的图片，自然引出词汇tiger,教学tiger）

(电脑屏幕上呈现狮子的一部分，让学生去猜测，并引出，呈现狼，教师提问Who lives here?引出wolf, 呈现熊从走来的情景，教师问Look carefully, who is coming?引出bear) Read and spell the new words “wolf ,tiger ,bear, snake”. Ask and answer “What is it? It is a/an___. ”
