1、能够听懂、会说、认读、书写词汇late, early, tell, begin 2、能够认读、理解和运用下列句子Would you come to a party? 3、能运用所学的语言知识在创设的打电话情境中进行熟练的交际，并在此基础上能将其运用于日常生活之中。

Step 1 Warming-up: 1. Sing a song: Red River Valley 2. Free talk: T: Hello, boys and girls. What day is today? What time is it now? T: Class begins! What time does our English class begin?

Show a picture on the screen T: What can you see? S: I can see a cake, some fruits…

T: It's a party. Who is the surprise party for? Guess. S: It's for Li Ming. T: Yes, it's a party for Li Ming. 2.

Listen and answer the questions T: Where is Li Ming now? S: He is learning English in Canada. T: Why do they have a party? Will they tell Li Ming about the party?听课文文本前两幅图录音，鼓励学生找出问题的答案。学习tell一词，tell一词可由well一词导入学习。

T: Why do they have a party? S: Because Li Ming is leaving soon. T: Will they tell Li Ming about the party? S: No, they won't. It's a surprise party. T: Who will Jenny and Danny tell? Guess. S: They will tell Steven…
