主题语境：人与社会————历史文化遗产

-授课时：-1 课时（45分钟）

教材分析

这是本单元继阅读课IN SEARCH OF THE AMBER ROOM后的Learning about Language部分。重点词汇设计对文化遗产样子和价值的描述和对文物的历史的叙述，如design, decorate, belong to , worth等，语法涉及限制性定语从句与非限制性定语从句的区别和应用。学生们通过对词汇与语法的联系，以文化遗产为载体，感悟热情祖国，保护文物的精神。

学情分析

本班学生英语基础比较差，他们尤其对语法概念的理解和对语法的使用感到有困难。学生对著名的文物有些了解，但对文物的历史知之不多，对文物的保护意识有待加强。

教学目标

在本堂课学习结束时，学生能够

1.理解并正确使用本课的重点词汇和表达；

2.基于小组合作，发现并总结限制性与非限制性定语从句的主要区别；

3.整合本课所学的词汇，句型和定语从句，并在新篇章语境下正确应用；

4.了解我国圆明园兽首的历史并从爱国人士身上学习爱国与保护文物的精神。
