教材分析：

冀教版小学英语六年级下册教材第一单元第6课，学生在学习了乒乓球、篮球、足球以及打篮球的过程，和使用一般动词的过去式的基础上，学习球王贝利的故事。

学情分析：

六年级学生已经具备了一定的英语听说读写的基础，他们有一定的阅读能力和分析判断能力，能够根据课文内容提出问题并解决问题，有一定的小组合作能力，善于模仿和角色扮演，具备一定的写作能力。

教学目标： 1.学生能够听懂理解这个故事。

2、学生能够回答有关这个故事的问题。 3、学生能够用自己的话复述这个故事。

4、学生能够理解课文内容，学习贝利的体育运动精神。

教学重点：1.学生能够认读、理解famous，bottles, coach ，dug a hole, dig,the world cup 教学难点：能简单复述这个故事。

教学课时：一课时

Step1、warm up and review（1分）
