Lesson17: Danny’s Summer Holiday(第一课时)

本课通过Jenny和Danny的对话,描述了Danny上个暑假做的事情以及下一个暑假计划,其中,Danny的下一个暑假计划是本课的重点所在,涉及到的句型是:What will you do this summer holiday? I will…Will you …? Yes, I will. \ No, I will not. 也就是一般将来时态。此外,本课主题是“暑假计划”,因此会涉及到许多活动类短语,如go on a trip, play on the beach, go camping, go climbing等,学生在之前的学习中已经学过这些内容,因此活动类短语不再是新授内容,只需作为复习内容即可。在课的最后,需要学生能够运用“will”来描述自己及他人的暑假计划,最终达到语言输出的目的。

这是出于“冀教版”英语教科书上的一篇课文,而我们的学生使用的则是江苏省“译林版”的英语教材,两种教材之间必然存在很多不同之处,如人物的截然不同、知识的不同步等。我们的学生虽然初次接触“冀教版”教科书,但是其中涉及到的一些活动短语他们都已经学习过,如“go camping、go on a trip、play on the beach、go swimming”等,因此这些活动短语只需要作为复习内容即可。此外,我们的学生已经学过一般过去时态,但没有学过一般将来时态,因此“一般将来时态will”的用法才是本堂课的重点难点所在。

Step1: Revision and Warm-up

1.Show the learning aims

①I can name some summer activities: go camping, play on the beach, go on a trip, have a picnic ,etc.

②I can say the sentences: What will you do this summer holiday? I will… Will you …? Yes, I will.\ No,I will not.

③I can understand the story and retell it briefly.

④I can use “will” to talk about summer holiday pla ns of myself and other people.

T: What season is the song about?

S: It’s about summer.

T: Yes. Now let’s play a game. Can you say some words or phrases about summer? You can say words about“weather\ food and drinks\ fruit\ clothes\ activities”and etc. You have only 30 seconds.

游戏目的:在游戏中帮助学生复习和巩固一些活动短语:go camping、go swimming、go climbing、play table tennis、play on the beach、play football、fly a kite、have a picnic、read books、watch a film、go on a trip,etc.

2.Make a report

注意:上台展示的时候,每一位成员都要开口讲话。
