3、学生能理解如下单词及短语意思：“a goal keeper”“football needs teamwork”, “reach” and “excellent”. Ability objectives: 1、学生能听明白故事中动物角色之间关系。

2、学生能读出每个动物的特征并知道故事的最后结果。

3、大部分学生能读通、复述和表演故事。

4、部分学生能创编新故事并表演出来。

Greeting 1、Greet 2、Free talk T asks ss 2 questions：Can you paly football？Do you like playing football？and show ss a football match –the World Cup.

二、Pre-reading Activity1：watch the video and answer the questions Q1：What are they doing？ Q2:What can you see in the football match？

Ss learn the basic knowledge about football match and learn the words“goal，goalkeeper”、the phrase “have a try”.

Activity2：Ss watch the flash about the story and answer：Who needs a goalkeeper in this story？

Activity3：Ss follow the flash one sentence by one sentence，then answer the question：Who wants to be the goalkeeper？

Activity4：Ss read the story quickly and discuss： in groups and answer the questions：Who can’t be a goalkeeper？Why？Who can be a goalkeeper at last？

Activity5：Ss read together and find out why hippo can be a goalkeeper a goalkeeper at last？

Activity6：Ss role-play the story.

四、Post-reading Activity6：Ss retell the story according to the board design. Activity7:Play the story. Activity8:Change the story and act it out to develop the language skill.

五、Summary From the story , we know that:Football needs teamwork.Learning needs teamwork.And different people have different specialties.So we all need teamwork.
