三、Teaching procedure . 1、Warm up (1) Sing the song that we have learned .(you raise me up) (2) Play a game. I say… you say…(antonym) 2、Revision (1)Let’s listen to the story. (The students close their eyes.) (2)Ask and answer about the story. How’s the weather today? It’s _____.
3、Presentation (1) Ask and answer about the weather one by one. (2) Show some pictures and ask about weather. ( two by two, group by group) (3) Show some cartoons and talk about weather. (4) Have a competition as quickly as they can. (5)Practise with the pictures on the ppt.(the pictures change quickly) (6)Show the pictures and have a dictation.(some students write on their paper, some students write on the blackboard. ) (7) Try to make sentences with the pictures. It’s sunny today.
Let’s play football. It’s hot today.
Let’s go swimming. It’s windy today.
Shall we play with my kite ?
(8) Fill in the blanks. Check the answer in groups . 4. Consolidation
Teacher act the weather reporter. Students imitate to make their own weather report with their partners and act in groups. 四、Homework 1、Act the dialogue of Lesson 24 . 2、Try to be a weather reporter.
