一.Teaching aims 1.知识目标：

①复习巩固本单元主要词汇:taller、smaller、thinner等等。

②进一步复习巩固本单元主要句型: How tall are you? How heavy are you? I’m the tallest one.等等。

③理解story time的内容。

2. 技能目标：

①熟练运用问答身高和体重的句型。

②正确运用比较结构对比较对象进行比较和描述。

③阅读或表演故事。

3. 情感态度：

引导学生明白：Football need teamwork. 4．策略目标：

通过歌曲导入、多媒体录音和PPT展示，通过师生问答、个别回答、集体回答、小组讨论和分角色朗读等方式，为学生营造语言环境，帮助学生正确理解故事内容。

四．Teaching procedure Step1:Warm﹣up Sing a song: My small cat

Step2: Review ①Show the PPT: Let’s read ②Free talk: How old are you? How heavy are you? How tall are you? Who is taller? Who is heavier?....( T:If you want to become taller and stronger,you can do more exercises or play sports.)

Step3：Presentation 1. Show the PPT,T:What’s this?(Football.) Can you play football? Do you want to be a goalkeeper? Who wants to be a goalkeeper? Let’s learn about Unit 1 story time.Open your books at page 11.First,close yours eyes and listen to the tape of the story: What sentences can you understand？（板书）

2.Watch the video ①Watch the video ②T: Who are in the story? What are they talking about? 3.Show the new words: goalkeeper 、neck 、need、 try、catch、reach、teamwork、guy、almost、happen、 excellent. 4.PPT：Answer the questions(小组讨论): Who wants to be a goalkeeper? Mr Zebra can't be the goalkeeper.Why? Mr Giraffe can't be the goalkeeper.Why? Who becomes the goalkeeper at last? Why? 5. Watch the video again and read after the video.

Step4：Practice(分角色朗读)

Step5：Homework Read the story again by yourselves and tell the story to your family.
