. Part 3: The teaching subjects To learn some words about weather and famous buildings in cities.To know how to describe weather and some famous cities in western. Part 4: The teaching content: This lesson is chosen from Unit 3 of Book 12, English this way. The topic is “Weather around
the world.”
Pupils need to learn the sentence patterns “what’s the weathe like in ...?” and answer “It’s ...” Meanwhile to know how to use the sentence patterns by using the target language. Part 5Teaching

I’ll use CAI . some pictures and
tape. Part6: Teaching process:
Step 1 warm
up
Before the class,
I'll divide the whole class into two groups to make a competition in the class to make sure the part “ work in pairs”easily. 1.Greentings ( This step is to
catch Ss attention and give students English atmosphere . )
2. listen and
sing
“The
farmer in
the
dell.”
Then ask ss where the farmer is in this song. Step 2 Review and lead –in I will ask ss where you are ,and will say “Weicheng is a beutiful place and there are many beautiful places in the world.”I will show the pictures about the famous spots that we have learned and ask where they are.
(This step is to review the words they have learnt and catch Ss attention.) Step3.
Explanation and knowledge transfer. 1. New words teaching. 1.First,I will present the new word ,Paris,cloudy , London ,foggy , New York ,sunny , Sydney, windy ,Singapore, overcast
,Tokyo ,snowy by using pictures. After presenting.I will impart the pronunciation of difficult words,such as Sydeny,Singapore and overcast and make sure Ss can say them correctly. Read one by one, read line by line, read group by group, girls read, boys read...

New Sentences teaching. I will say when you plan to travel, you should know the weather of the place. Lead them to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Beijing.
Lead in the sentences “Are you in Beijing now?Yes.What’s the weather like?It’s sunny.”
Then we will learn the words in the new sentence pattern . Girls ask and boys answer, or group 1 ask and group 2 answer... (To help pupils remember the new words easily by cards. To help pupils get enough practice. To teach the new words in sentences so that the pupils can get a good sense of language and be able to master the new words easier.)
