教学目标

1. 能听懂、读懂核心词汇fever, cough, cold, well, take some medicine；能知晓核心词汇toothache的含义并能正确朗读。

2. 能理解dentist和dentist’s的含义，并能正确认读。

3. 能理解情态动词should...(too)及shouldn't...(either)的意思，并能运用核心句型What should I do？You should/ You shouldn’t…进行询问和应答。

4. 并能运用...have/has...的句型来表达患有的病症。

5. 能运用一些看病的日常用语，如：What's wrong with you？Oh dear!

6. 知晓单元音/ə /的发音，正确朗读含有这个音标的单词。

教材分析

通过本单元的学习，学生能够掌握描述一些常见的病症，给出如何治疗感冒咳嗽

牙痛等症状的建议，并能了解哪些习惯对人们的身体健康有利或者有害，从而更清楚的了解自己应该从运用、饮食和生活习惯三方面来保持身体健康。

学生分析

学生与老师已经建立了一定的教学默契，很多学生对英语有较浓厚的兴趣。学生对于上课、作业等已经具有一定的***部分学生具备了单词拼写的方法，对句子也有了比较清晰的概念，能进行听读活动，能用多句话进行表达。

重点难点

情态动词should...(too)及shouldn't...(either)的意思，并能运用核心句型What should I do？You should/ You shouldn’t…进行询问和应答。
