设计理念：

自主学习，先学后教，培养学生通过查阅字典和教辅材料，课前自主学习英语词汇的拼读、词性、搭配用法，从而自己模仿造句，甚至发挥想象创作一个小故事。同时，利用进进多媒体技术，面向全体，给学生创设语境运用词汇。全面提高学生的自学能力、想象力和展示能力。

教材分析：

本单元中心话题为“computers”,内容涉及电脑的发展历史、作用。本节课涉及电脑和信息技术词汇多，抽象，不易认读，比较枯燥。本课想通过竞赛、小组合作学习、创设语境、联想等方法，让学生辨认、能读和运用词汇。

An Interview----

By Manxin Chen Jane applied for the programmer of a big company last week. Today, she received a reply from a company and was asked to have an interview.

The next day, Jane rose earlier and called Kelly, her best teammate to accompany her.

“Hello, I am Jane. My goal is to be a programmer. In a way, I’m a little naughty but intelligent. Besides that, I think logically and er…” Suddenly, Jane was so nervous that she couldn’t continue her speech. Then, tears ran down her face. “Don’t be like that, Jane. Try to simplify the nervousness in your heart.” Kelly shouted. With the help of Kelly, Jane went on and introduced herself in a better way. As a result, the post was finally given to Jane. From then on, they became close friend.

In sum, friends are those who give you a supporting hand and help you solve the difficult problems. Anyhow, a true friendship couldn’t be artificial.

My Goal--- Jiamei Lin

I have a life goal now after I learn about the history of computer. I desire to be a designer so that I can use my intelligence to make my computer dream come true. What I want to do is to develop the computer with more articial intelligence. Through it, computer can simplify any difficulties and solve any problems logically. Anyhow, I will try my best to achieve it and with the help of my teammate, I am sure I will be successful one day.
