高三英语语法专题复习——定语从句

Thoughts on the design:

本节课的设计重点在于让学生明确定语从句的基本概念，能识别、判断定语从句前提下，熟练掌握关系代词、关系副词在句中的功能，准确把握高考定语从句考查重点。

Teaching materials:

1. 关系代词和关系副词的选择

2. 关系代词that 和 which 区别

3. as引导的定语从句

4. 定语从句与并列句

Teaching procedures:

Step 1. Revision and lead-in

1. Review the basic structure of the attributive clauses :

先行词+关系代词/关系副词+从句

2. Review relative pronouns and adverbs: that, which, who , whom ,whose , where ,when ,why, as Step 2. Introduction to the important points of attributive clauses 1. 关系代词和关系副词的选择

Ask the students to fill in the blanks: 1) This is the village ____we visited last year.

2) He went to the village, ____ he was born. 3) I’ll never forget the days___ we spent together. 4) I’ll never forget the days___ we lived together. 5) I don’t understand the reason____ he was absent yesterday. 6) I don’t understand the reason ____he explained at the meeting. [设计说明]：从相似句型导入，能使学生留心观察句型之间的细微差 别，从而体会定语从句考查点。

2. that和which 考查重点

1) I am outgoing, ____can make me get on well with each other. 2) This is the best film____ I have ever seen. 3) He has many books, most of ____are science fiction. 4) There is nothing ___can prevent him from going on. 5) This is the very book___ I am looking for.

6) The problem about ___they argued last night has been solved. [设计说明]：强化两个引导词用法差异，并总结规律：

“代高序’’的“恰恰舞”是“唯一的”——that （“代”—all, everything, anything, nothing, little, much “高”—最高级；恰恰—the very; the right; the only) 3. as 引导定语从句

(1)“正如…”常见的as用法结构: as is often the case ; as is known to us ; as we all know ; as is planned 句首或句尾均可。

1) As is known to everybody, the moon travels round the earth once every month. 2) As is often the case, he is late again. 比较：It is known that the moon travels round the earth once every month. What is known is that the moon travels round the earth once every month. (2) such… that…/so…that…结果状语从句“如此…以至于…”

such…as…/so…as…

定语从句

1) He is such an honest man that we respect him.

2) He is such an honest man as we respect 3) He is so honest a man that we respect him. 4) He is so honest a man as we respect 4. 定语从句与并列句

（关注连词）

比较：He has 3 sons, and two of them are doctors. He has 3 sons, two of whom are doctors. Step 3. Practice Finish the exercises 1—10 [设计说明]：在理清考查重点之后，让学生练习运用，教师在此过程中 可以发现学生概念模糊地地方，并及时予以纠正。

Step 4. Consolidation

1. Ask Ss to do exercise 2. Check answers.

[设计说明]：该练习把含定语从句的句子和含状语从句、宾语从句的句 子掺杂在一起，强化高考考点。

Step 5. Homework

1. Revise what we have learned today

2. Finish the rest of the exercises.
