教学目标：1.学生能够正确听、说、认读新单词daughter/son。

2.

学生能够理解课文并运用This is...句型，并在真实的情境中运用所学新句型介绍自己的家人。

3.

培养学生的小组合作能力及综合语言运用能力。

4.

培养学生爱父母，爱家人的美好感情。

教学重难点：学生能够掌握两个新单词，并且能够熟练运用This is...句型介绍家人。

教学过程：

Step1 Warming up 1.

Greetings.

2.

Free talk. Boys and girls, I am your new teacher, so I want to know you. Let’s have a free talk. (What’s your name?/How old are you?) And in today’s class, we have group 1, 2, 3. If you can answer me questions actively ,you will get a heart. And let’s see which group is the winner? 3.Sing a song. Today I want to introduce two new friends to you. This is Kate and this is Peter(tadpoles).They are singing. Let’s sing with them. 4.Review. You did a good job and they want to introduce their families to you. Let’s say “Hello!” to them. (Hello! Mother...) 5.Who’s missing? Oh, their mother is missing. They are very sad. Let’s

help them to find their mother.

Step2 Presentation 1.

The girl comes to the dog and the dog says “You are not my daughter. This is my daughter.”

The girl goes away sadly. Then she comes to the bear. The bear says “You are not my daughter. This is my daughter.” Now can you guess what’s the meaning of daughter?(Learn daughter.) 2.

The girl comes to the frog and the frog says “This is my daughter.”

“But where’s my son?” Can you guess what’s the meaning of son?(Learn son.) 3.

The mother tells them she buys two gifts for them. It’s in my bag. Here’ three keys. You must get the right key and then you can open the bag. (Three keys---Three games.) (Game1:Look at the pictures and say the English names. Game2:Read the words. Game3:Look at the screen and make sentences.--This is my daughter/son.) 4.

Now you get the right key and the bag is open. Wow, a CD and a

storybook. Do you like CDs? Do you like storybooks?

OK, let’s watch and see. And I have one question. “How old is Gao Wei?”

Step3 Practice 1.

Read after the tape. Read in roles.

Give you three minutes to practice in pairs and then act the dialogue.(Different levels will get different hearts.) 3.

Chant together. Peach----each, brother---- other. 4.

Let’s look at another happy families. Describe the picture.(家有儿女) This is me. This is my... 5.

Create a new situation and ask them “What would you say when you meet your friends at the gate of our school?” Make a new dialogues in groups and show it. 6.

Look at this big leaf and there are six English letters. Can you guess the whole words? (Family= Father and mother I love you ) So we should love our father and mother. Step4 Homework Must to do: 1.

Introduce your families to your friends. 2.

Say “I love you. ” to your mum and dad. Choose to do : Write a small composition to introduce your families.
