(1)发展学生的语言能力,学生能将目标语言和功能语言灵活地运用在不同的看比赛场合中,能够为不同的比赛进行英文解说;
(2)培养学生的学习能力,能通过角色扮演、小组合作等形式在真实情境中进行交际;
(3)能够在拓展中认识更多的球类等其他运动。

Lesson 31作为Unit6的开篇一课,具有承上启下的作用。它既承接了前
单元讨论“正在做什么”的时态,也开启了本单元We’re watching the games.观看并讨论体育比赛的新主题。

本课通过学生们在操场上观看师生踢足球、打篮球、打排球这三种球类运
动,引出要学习的目标语言They are playing football. The girls are playing volleyball. They’re playing basketball. What are you doing? We’re watching the games.学生能够在观看比赛时通过运用目标语言,进行“何人正在进行何种运动”的讨论。

通过情境完成任务,让学生能自主感知、模仿、学习和体验,并运用Let’s
go and watch the games on the playground. How about the teachers? They’re playing very well. 等功能语句提出建议、进行询问、表达观点,在真实语境中进行交际。

教学目标
教材分析
1、十一二岁的孩子,整体上具有爱表现、善模仿的特点,对新单元新话题充学情分析满了好奇。因此,可以通过任务教学满足孩子们的求知欲和表达欲。学做小记者,在完成现场解说的任务中,体验学习英语的乐趣,主动参与。
2、五年级学生有一定的英语学习基础和学习习惯。但越高段,差异性就越大,
越需要激发他们主动学习的兴趣。因此,课堂活动中需要设置学生感兴趣的情境,并有梯度地增大难度,力求做到调动整体并关注个体。
