一、教学内容分析

本节课主要内容为单词及词组的复习。整合本单元中的单词和词组，帮助学生整理建立一个词汇变形库。同时，通过听说读写四个部分对单词词组进行巩固，帮助学生在语篇中的运用。这节课重点归纳和运用的相关名词有 30 个，动词及短语表达 12 个，形容词 6个。

二、教学目标

At the end of the class students will be able to 1) gather a collection of words and expressions of this unit; 2) master the basic words transformations.3）learn something about Charlie Chaplin.

三、学习者特征分析

我所任教的班级学生是高三理科普通班的学生。他们之前对待词汇的态度比较被动，也不具备正确的记忆词汇的意识。在知识层面，学生没有特别系统的总结和归纳有关人物这一话题的相关表达，在运用层面也缺乏相应的强化训练。通过本节课的学习，希望学生能够掌握单词的变形，

能够在语篇中正确运用。

四、教学过程

Step1 pre-class reading(3minutes)

Let students read two passages to know some latest news happened these days.

Step2 listening (10 minutes) Listen to the tape and write down the words you hear .(pay attention to your handwriting).

Then check the answers together. Three minutes later,let two students read their answers.And then play a game .Do translation (translate English into Chinese or Chinese into English.) Step3 Words Transformation (10minutes) Group work ,six people in a group to finish the blanks .If they have any problems ,they can refer to books ,dictionaries,or computers .5 minutes later,let some of the students write down their answers on the blackboard .At last check and correct together. Step 5 Summary (5minutes) Do a summary by themselves . Homework Finish the crossword puzzle Learn the words by heart.

八、教学反思

1.In general,I an quite satisfied with this class .Various tasks are designed foe students to finish,which will not only help them to master the words better,but also let them have a great sense of achievement. 2.The most exciting part is the group work ,which is a good chance for students to cooperate with others and let them be the real master of learning in the class. 3.I think students have mastered what I want them to learn ,but the only small problem is that they still cannot read some words correctly. However,I was given a very good suggestion that I can use word-formation

Personification to help students remember those words.

4.If Icould haveanother chance to have this lesson again,I would let them listen to the tape a second time.

5.After talking with students after class,I know they have understood most of what I said in class,and they did a good job in their homework.
