一、教材内容分析

本单元要学习的是“The Million Pound Bank Note”，这是根据美国作家马克吐温的同名小说改编的剧本，并且被搬上了大银幕。剧本内容幽默诙谐又充满讽刺意味，语言独具特色，受到学生的喜欢。Learning about Language 这一部分是在分别学习宾语从句、主语从句、表语从句和同位语从句的基础上，引入名词性从句这一概念。要求学生在原有知识的基础上，进一步建立和加深对名词性从句这一整体概念的理解，能够区分不同类型的名词性从句，会为从句选择正确的引导词，并能写出一些简单的名词性从句。

二、学情分析

本节课学习的内容是名词性从句。很多学生应该是第一次接触这个概念，但如果细化到它的分类，其实都是我们已经学过的从句。所以对学生来说，理解这一概念并不难。难的是不少学生初中语法知识比较薄弱，由于一直提倡淡化语法教学，无论在汉语课上还是英语课上都没有很接触过句子成分的划分，导致上了高中仍不能很好的理解或找出一句话中的主、谓、宾、定、状、补、表、同等成分，进而影响到对从句的理解。因此，基于学生的这一学情，但讲授名词性从句这一节内容时，最好花时间帮助学生好好分别复习下宾语从句、主语从句、表语从句和同位语从句，然后在此基础上比较异同，总结出名词性从句的学习重点。

三、教学目标

1．在知识与技能方面：

⑴帮助学生理解名词性从句的概念。

⑵能够区分不同类型的名词性从句。

⑶会为从句选择正确的引导词。

⑷能写出一些简单的名词性从句。

⑸会自己概括总结本节重难点内容。

2 . 过程与方法方面: ⑴通过句例引导学生理解名词性从句。

⑵从作用、位置、引导词等方面帮助学生回顾四类名词性从句。

⑶通过反复练习熟悉和掌握名词性从句。

⑷通过对比概括出名词性从句的特点。

3.情感态度与价值观方面:

帮助学生克服学习语法的畏难情绪，建立学习英语的信心。

Step 1：Introduce the noun clauses 1.

Look at the four groups of sentences. Pay attention to the underlined parts and conclude. ⑴His job is important.
