教材分析和学情分析：

本册教材以学生为中心，以主要人物的活动为主线，着重学习有关动物和食物的内容，从而了解中西方饮食文化区别。即贴近了生活，又展现了中西方国家的不同文化背景，从这学期开始学生要识记单词，并且注重字母在单词中的发音规律。本课讲述了描述位置的介词以及询问物体位置的句型。

三年级学生生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛、画面特别感兴趣。学生学习英语不久，有可能说的不好，有的还不敢说，课堂上要以表扬为主，注重培养学生对英语的兴趣，鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力唱。

Ⅰ.Class Opening Step 1 warming-up Greeting and review T: Hello, how are you? S: I am fine, thank you, and you? T: I am fine too. Thank you. Step 2 Review the words Show the cards to review rabbit、horse、cow 、cat and dog……

Ⅱ.New Concepts Step 1 Draw a box on the blackboard.

T: What's this? Ss: Box! T: Box! Ss: Box! Ask students to say "box" a few times，Then spell "box". Step 2 Study the phrases Mark out in、on 、under .The teacher display in、on、under with her hand and fist. T: Follow me. Read and display in、on、under one by one. Step 3 Play a game 让学生操练in、on、under及in/on/under the box词组，当教师做出手势时，学生读出相应的词组。
