Lesson 13 Summer is coming!教学设计

一、教材分析

本单元中，李明、珍妮和丹尼将尽情享受夏季的各种活动，并讨论他们的暑假计划。本课是第三单元的第一课，课题是“Summer is coming!”通过学习本课，要求学生会用英语描述描述四季的天气，及在不同的季节中树木的变化，并会描述自己在不同的季节喜欢做的事情。

二、教学目标

（一）知识目标

1.

能够听、说、读、写单词：fan,leaves. 2.

能够简单描述每一个季节的不同特征，并说出自己在不同的季节喜欢什么活动。

3.

提高看图说话、运用英语的能力。

（二）能力目标

提高看图说话、运用英语的能力。

（三）情感目标

进一步激发学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣，培养学生乐于与他人交往和交流的精神。

三、教学重、难点

重点：掌握本课的四会单词。

难点：能用英语描述四季中树木的变化及自己喜欢做的事情。

五、教学过程

Step1: Warming up 1.

Greeting 2.

Talking: T: How’s the weather today?

S:It’s sunny.

T: Yes. Today is 28 degrees. The weather is hotter and hotter. Why?

Ss: Summer is coming! （设计意图：课前复习天气，为本课的四季天气的学习做好铺垫。）

Wrting: Summer is coming! 4.

Ask the students to read the learning goals. Step2: Presentation 1.

T: How many seasons are there in a year?

Ss: There are four seasons.

T: What are they? （设计意图：提问季节，为描述不同季节中的树木做好铺垫。）

Show some pictures:

T: How’s the weather in spring\summer\autumn\winter?

Ss: Spring is warm. Summer is hot.

Autumn is cool. Winter is cold. 3.

Show the pictures of some tress

T: Look at the pictures, what can you see?

Ok, now listen to the tape, and answer the questions:

What happens to trees in different seasons? 4.

Ask the students to talk about the questions in your groups. 5.

Ask the students to show the answers.

In spring, trees have new leaves.

In summer, trees have green leaves.

In autumn, tree lose their leaves.

In winter, many trees don’t have any leaves. （设计意图：在复习过季节之后，我出示四季中树木的图片，让学生听音，讨论树木在不同的季节中的变化，学生能够直观的观察图片，试着用英语描述。）

T: Now let’s read the text, who wants to be a little teacher? 7.

Look at the pictures, what’s this? （设计意图：这一环节中，我出示了一些学生学过的一些活动的图片，让学生用英语描述这些活动，为学生学习第二部分的内容做好铺垫。）
