A Teaching Plan for
B2U3 Learning about Language By Tan Shulan Teaching goals: Through this class, students will be able to
1.
get familiar with the new words of unit 2 through exercises on textbook.
2.
get familiar with the grammar about The Present Perfect Passive Voice. 3.
consolidate what they have learnt through more exercises.
Teaching important point: The grammar about The Present Perfect Passive Voice. Teaching difficult point: The difference between The Present Perfect Passive Voice and the present perfect active voice.
Teaching procedures: Before class Ask students to finish the exercises on textbook before class and 3 groups of students are supposed to be in charge of the exercises.
In class Step one: Lead-in Read aloud: read the new words of unit 2 together.
Step Two: Check the answers of the exercise on textbook Three groups of students will come up to be in charge of the exercises. They are supposed to give answers and explain the answers. Teacher will step up when necessary.
Step Three: Grammar: The Present Perfect Passive Voice
Students will see some examples, follow the teacher’s lead and find some rules about the Present Perfect Passive Voice by themselves.
Step Four: Consolidation
Do more exercise in class to consolidate the grammar point.
Step Five: Homework 1.
Try to remember the grammar rules. 2.
Do exercises 1, 2 and 3 on page 21.
