2. 掌握记叙文的线索：事件和人物；

3. 分享对文中重点人物活动分析而推断出的品行和特点。

整体设计

让作业服务课堂教学。带领学生读出文章的脉络、重点以及人物的分析，以此培养学生的推理和归纳能力，拓宽文化视野和引导价值取向。

教学过程

The students revise vocabulary

Collections and presentations of the 8 aspects in warming up

Students predict about the title(type, features, main ideas and order) b.

Students read for the general idea and structure (mind-map) c.

Student read for specific information.(events and great collectors) The students discuss the suitable structure , esp. the belonging of para 7 The students discuss why great collectors are mentioned and what made them successful..

The students are required to explore and discover the exploration of plants in the 20th century and after
