Step one: Warming -up

1. Greeting and review

T: Good morning, boys and girls! How are you today?

Ss: Hello, Miss Wang. I’m fine.

T: Let’s have a review first.

Ss: OK!

(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,培养孩子口语交流能力。)

2. Lead in.

Watch the PPT pictures to remember the words to have a review. Ask several students to read them.

Step two: New concept

1. New words

Show PPT pictures of new words about giraffe, hippo, deer, zebra, goalkeeper, centimeters, teamwork.

T: What is this?

Ss: It's a giraffe/ hippo…

2. Practice

Play a game to practice these words like touch and say.

(设计意图:通过幻灯片图片的展示,使学生一目了然的学习单词,更易于学生了解新知,且利用游戏,调动学生的积极性和学生整体参与课堂)

2. New sentence

T: There is an ad. They want a goalkeeper. Which animal can be a good goalkeeper. S1: Giraffe/hippo...

Step three: Practice

(设计意图:有节奏的chart 便于学生记忆本课句型)

Listen to the radio and answer the questions

(设计意图:听之前提出问题,让学生有目的的去听,提高学生们的注意力,也锻炼了听力能力)

Listen to the tape and read after it

(设计意图:回归课本)

3.Let's sing (相应的学生做相应的动作)

(设计意图:让学生在轻松愉悦的歌曲中巩固本课新知)

Ⅶ.Teaching reflection

回顾在本课的教学中,我采用了游戏,歌曲等形式活跃了课堂气氛。采用师生对话,生生对话等锻炼了学生们的口语表达能力。通过多媒体课件电子白板等手段,使教学更加直观生动。再有是把课堂上大量的时间交给了学生,让学生在轻松愉悦地氛围中学会知识,学会交流,学会运用。

不足之处,对role-play的练习程度不足,学生们对不同动物的语气模仿不到位。
