[教材分析] 本课时是本单元的using language部分，属于泛读类文章，主要介绍了吉林长白山的相关信息，其中主要介绍了长白山天池。文章主要分为两个部分：一是长白山，一是天池；在介绍天池部分又分为三个部分：基本信息，传说和许愿。在处理文章时，我们旨在引导学生快速查找关键信息，并利用关键词掌握文章结构。

[设计说明] 对于语言学习来说，我们通过不同手段进行语言输入，最后的目的都是为了语言输出。从新高考改革背景下的英语四大学科素养来看，文化意识的地位凸显越来越明显。******曾提到，青少年的使命和社会责任之一就是弘扬和传播优秀文化，在此过程中，语言是我们“走出去”的重要媒介之一。因此，在本堂课的设计中，我们基于平时的听读训练，利用活动设计训练和提升学生的写和说的能力，并通过配音训练帮助学生树立文化传播意识。

页眉的“Never Say Never”意为“永不言弃”，是我们对英语学习的态度，同时也是对生活的态度，这鞭策我们不断前进。

[学情分析] 高二27班是理科二层次班级，从两次月考的成绩分析来看，听力和写作一直是我班的弱项，但阅读板块又是我们的优势。细细分析不难发现，这三个板块的共同点是对快速查找信息能力的要求。但由于平时对听说和写训练的不足，学生在这些方面出的问题比较多。因此，我们尝试把听力和阅读结合起来，并通过写和说完成语言输出，看对学生听力和书面表达能力是否有一定帮助。

基于对文章的理解和掌握，用书面表达训练的形式对文章进行总结和复述，同时结合国家发展的“走出去”战略，为学生创设文化背景，帮助学生提高站位。在此环节，对学生的综合能力要求较高，探究案主要训练学生的听和读的技能，而本环节则是语言输出的过程，旨在训练和提升读写技能。

由于学生层次差异，所以把写作环节进行了分层设计，学生先根据能力选择试题ABC独立完成，完成后进行小组讨论，之后进行投影展示对完成情况进行订正，最后完成视频的配音完成任务。
