M3U3 Seeing the Doctor 一、单元教学目标

语言知识与技能

1. 能熟练运用cold, fever, cough, toothache等表述病症的单词。

2. 在生病看病的语境中，能够运用句型What’s wrong with you? How do you feel? 来对别人进行询问，并较熟练地进行回答。

3. 在生病看病的语境中，能够运用句型What should I do? You should / shouldn’t …来对别人进行询问，并较熟练地进行回答。

4. 在生病看病的语境中，能够运用go to see the doctor/dentist, take some medicine, drink a lot of water, wear warm clothes, have a good rest, brush your teeth twice a day并较熟练地给予别人建议。

5. 能识读音标[ɜː]

和 [ə]以及相关单词，知道它们的发音规律并根据发音规律尝试辨识含有音标[ɜː]

和 [ə]的单词。

语言情感

通过生病看医生的过程，了解生活中存在的一些好的和坏的习惯，尝试养成健康的生活习惯。

学习策略

1. 在阅读英语故事中，初步感知所学语言。

2. 以任务为驱动，结合语篇语境学习目标语句，积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务。

3. 以听读理解为主导，初步学习获取和梳理信息的方法。

二、语用任务

学生能用核心词汇和句型，能根据他人对不同病症的表述，并在对其生活习惯调查的基础上，针对性给出2-3条保持健康的建议，做到语音语调正确，表达规范流畅。

三、学情分析

纵观整套牛津教材，对于本单元seeing the doctor这一主题，涉及看病，学生们是第一次接触，能初步了解一个人生病就医的过程，学会正确表达病情，学会一些保护自己身体健康的生活常识和注意事项等。

Mum: Peter, come and have lunch! Peter: I can’t eat, Mum. Mum: What’s wrong with you? Peter: I have a toothache. Mum: Oh dear! Let’s go to see the dentist. Peter and his mum are at the dentist’s. Peter: I have a toothache. Dentist: Let me look at your teeth. Do you often eat sweets?

Peter: Yes. Dentist: They’re bad for your teeth.

Peter: What should I do now? Dentist: You should take some medicine.

Peter: OK. Thank you.
