教学过程：

一、Free---talk

T: How tall/heavy/old are you?

S1/S2/S3…

T: What do you like? Do you like playing football?

S1: Yes /No

T: Can you play football?...

Ss: …

【设计意图：与学生的自由交谈，既复习了旧知，又导入了本课的话题。】

二、Presentation

1. T: You can play football. Have you ever been a goalkeeper? Show the picture of goalkeeper. Look at the man in the picture. He is a goalkeeper. Teach the word: goalkeeper.

2. T: A good goalkeeper is important in a team. A good goalkeeper can help a team win the match. Do you want to be a good goalkeeper?

Ss: Yes.

T：Me too .Now an animal football team wants a goalkeeper. Zebra, Deer, Giraffe, and Dog want to be a goalkeeper , they want to have a try. Watch the screen and answer my following questions:

Q1: How tall is the deer?

Q2: How heavy is the deer?

Q3: How tall is the Mr Zebra? Q4: Who is the tallest one?

Q5: Why can’t Giraffe be the goalkeeper? Do they need a tall goalkeeper? Q6: Who is an excellent goalkeeper?
