Teaching procedures

Step 1 Greeting &Warm up

1. Greeting T: Hello, boys and girls. S: Hello, Miss Zhang. T: Nice to meet you. S: Nice to meet you, too. T: I’m so happy that today we can have this lesson in this class together, Do you wanna learn with me?

S:ok T: Ok, today we will learn unit4 where’s the bird? Please read after me,

now let’s look at our learning aims together. S: Ok T: Do you like singing the song?

S: Yes T: Oh, I’m so glad to hear that, now let’s listen a song together, and try to sing ok?

Ss: ok Teacher play the song: On, in, under and invite students to do with her. Step 2 Presentation

1. Play a game and learn the new words T: Let’s play a game, please close your eyes and guess what’s in my hand? S: it’s a bird. T:Yes, it’s a bird, you’re so clever. What colour is the bird? Is it beautiful? S: Yes, how beautiful!

T:You are so clever. Now, let’s play a game with the bird, look at this picture, the bird fly away, can you guess where is the bird?

Step 3 Story time 1. Watch and choose T:

Where is the bird now? Is it in the park? In the classroom? In the tree? Here is a story about the bird. Please lwatch carefully, and then choose the right answer.

T: You did a good job. Now, look at the blackboard. (拿出小鸟的图片) Look! A bird!

S: How beautiful!

Step 4 Sing a song 1. Say a rhyme

T: boys and girls, you did very very well in this class, I know you like the bird so much, but so much for this, let’s go back to the beginning of our class, do you still remember this song on in under, now let’s do some interesting thing, make up a new song in your group. You can look at here I give you some hint.
