【教材分析】
本单元主要教学场景是在农场,Liu Tao带着Mike去爷爷的农场,在参观农场的过程中,学习了该单元的重点句型“What’s this/that?”和“What are these/those?”并且学习了单词“pig, cow, duck, chicken, apple, orange ,picture。”通过Bobby的画作继续操练重点单词和句型,学生能正确理解和朗读cartoon time 中的故事,能读懂其中趣味之处,并养成良好的阅读习惯。
【学情分析】
本单元中要求新授的句型This is…Nice to meet you. What are these? They’re…Are these…? Are those…? ,在一年级中和二年级中已经出现并略有涉及。所以在教授本单元知识的时候可以从
What’s this ?这一话题着手,让学生学会如何归纳已学知识,从而学会温故知新。通过多种游戏的形式,帮助学生记忆,培养学生的学习兴趣。
【教学内容】
苏教译林版小学英语三年级下册Unit7 Fun time, Cartoon time& Checkout time 【教学目标】
1.在教师的引导下,学生能正确理解和朗读Cartoon time中的故事,能读懂其中趣味之处。
2.能掌握以下词汇:farm,they,pig,those,cow,apple,pear,chicken,duck, orange,picture,who;
3.通过各种活动让学生能正确熟练地运用名词单复数形式的句型:
What’s this/ that? It’s a/an…
Is this/that…?Yes,it is./ No, it isn’t.
What are these/those? They’re …
Are these/those…?Yes ,they are. /No, they are not.
4.能读懂绘本“Farm friends”.

课前自主预习:
1. 听磁带,试着跟读Cartoon time,通过自主阅读,了解故事内容。
2. 勾画出生词,查字典理解含义。
【教学过程】
Teaching Process
Step1. Review
1. Sing the song——
Q:What can we see on the farm?
(设计意图:通过欢快的歌曲,激活今天的话题,把学生带进农场。)
2. Review Story time
T.Old MacDonald has a farm. Liu Tao’s grandpa has a farm, too.
Let’s go and have a look, OK?
Ss: OK.
T: Let’s think: What animals can we see on grandpa’s farm?
T :What else can we see?
(设计意图:通过复习Story time 内容,继续巩固单词cow、pig、duck、chicken、apple、pear、orange。)
Step2. Presentation
1. Let’s check.
T: I have a picture of the farm. There are some animals and fruit on the picture. Look at this picture, What’s this ?
S1:It’s a bird.
T: Great! Who wants to be the teacher? Please come here.
S2: What’s this?
S3: It’s a chicken.
T:Good. Please work with your partner and make a dialogue.
T: Time’s up. Which group wants to have a try?
(两组同学上来完成Checkout time 部分的对话操练)
(设计意图:Checkout time部分是一个看图完成句子的练习,旨在检查学生对本单元所学内容的运用能力。运用白板的放大镜功能,可以积极的调动学生学习的积极性,使课堂更加有趣。)
2.Let’s play
1). Play a game ‘Play and say”
T:I like playing games. Do you want to play a game with me?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK. Let’s play an interesting game together. First, please read the rules quickly. T: Are you clear?

T: Who are the winners? Please put up your hands.(对获胜者表示祝贺)
(设计意图:通过游戏操练重点句型What’s this/that? What are these/ those?以及回答:It’s a /an … , They’re… .)
3.Let’s watch
T: Oh, you’re all winners. You all get to “Finish”,You all get to the house. I have some paper here. What are these?(拿出Bobby 画)
Ss: They’re pictures. (教授新词:picture)
T: Are these pictures beautiful?
Ss: No.
T: Bobby draws these pictures. Maybe he isn’t good at drawing. How many pictures does Bobby draw? Can you guess? Let’s watch a cartoon and find out the answer.
(设计意图: 通过观看动画,让学生找出Bobby一共画了几幅画,并且能理解掌握新词picture的复数形式。)
4. Let’s read.(默读课文,在文中找出相应的句子。)
T: Read the text and answer the questions.

T:Read after the tape.
5. Let’s act.
T: Good, you can read it well. Now let’s act it out. I will give you two minutes to prepare. Which group wants to have a try?( 五组学生上台表演)
T:Which group is the best?评出最佳表演奖(颁发奖品)
6. Let’s read.
T: Boys and girls, I liking reading books in my free time. Do you liking reading? Ss: Yes.
T:Let’s read a book about animals, you can read after the tape.
(设计意图:本环节为拓展环节,通过读绘本Farm friends可以了解更多的农场里的动物。绘本里出现了生词sheep、goat、horse,正好也增加了学生的词汇量。)
7. Let’s play.
T: Do you remember the animals in this book? Let me check it. I need two students to play this game.
(设计意图:本环节为游戏环节,旨在检查学生对课本中以及绘本中动物类单词的记忆,通过两两PK,可以刺激学生的学习神经,有利于他们在战斗中展现自己的风采。)
Step3. Consolidation
T:Boys and girls, animals are our friends. They are lovely and friendly. If I have free time, I like to go to the nature. Close to the nature, and enjoy yourself. Class is over. Goodbye, class.
Ss: Goodbye, teacher.
Step4. Homework
1.听磁带,朗读Cartoon time并背诵。
2.上网查阅资料,了解你感兴趣的动物和水果的英文单词。

教学反思:
1.本节课的教学内容为综合板块,包含Fun time, Cartoon time& Checkout time. 在完成Fun time 环节的游戏时,游戏设计的不够合理,没有达到游戏应该有的效果。
2.教师课堂语言运用的不是十分到位,在以后的教学中要勤加练习。
3.在Cartoon time 的表演中,学生还没有完全掌握课文内容,导致表演时语言运用的不是太熟练。
