【教学内容】PEP六年级下册 Unit 1 How tall are you ? Part A Let’s learn. 【教学目标】 1、能力目标：学生能够对身高进行问答；学生能够掌握四会单词和句子；学生能够用比较级对一些事物或人进行比较。 2、知识目标： （1）能够掌握本课时的四会单词：younger, older, taller, shorter, longer。 （2）能够掌握本课时重点句型：How tall are you ? I am ......metres. I am taller. You are shorter\taller than me. You’re younger\older than me. 3、情感目标：培养学生积极学习英语的兴趣，能积极参与课堂。

【教学重难点】 1、

重点：学习单词：younger, older, taller, shorter, longer;掌握句子：’m 1.61 metres. I am taller. You’How tall are you ? Ire older than me,too. 2、

【教学过程】

步骤 Step 1 复习（5分钟） 复习单

词 young old tall short long strong thin How old...? 呈现方式： 1）单词卡，让学生认读。 Now boys and girls,please read the words together. 2）看屏幕，填入所缺字母然后连线。 OK,Look at the screen, Till in the missing letters ,and then say what they mean in Chinese. 3)让学生用这些词造句。(5-8个学生) Now please make some sentences with these words. E.g . I’m tall. He is short. Step 2 新课呈现Let,s Learn.（15分钟） 1、

通过图片学习单词： Look at the picure . 1） Picture 1 Let,s look at the picture,this is Tom and this is Mike.Who,stall ? And who,sshort? Yes,Tom is short. Mike is tall. We can say Mike is taller than Tom. 板书：taller 用类似的方法教学shorter,longer,younger,older等，并板书。

2）小结：认识形容词比较级， 3）Let,schant. 2、通过姚明图片学习句型： 1)Look at the picureof YaoMing.

Ask: Who is he?What,s he like ? What does he do ? How tall is he? Would you like to be a basketball like YaoMing? How tall are you ? Who is taller? ... . 用 Who is taller? ... . 学习找出全班最高的学生。 2)看姚明乔丹照片比较。 Show a picture of Jordan and YaoMing. Here is another famous basket ball player. Who is he ? How tall is he? （Present Jordan ） 比较突出单词：old young tall short .句子:He is 36 years old. He is 2.26 metres. YaoMing is taller than Jordan ....
