学情分析：本部分主要以故事阅读、故事表演等形式来巩固前两个部分所学知识，了解常用的质量和长度单位以及用故事的形式来展示比较级和最高级的用法。在前面所学的基础上，通过多种方式再次进行巩固，使学生在轻松、欢快的氛围中完成学习任务。

教学目标 1、学生能理解story time的故事。 2、学生能够分角色自然表演story time的故事。 3、学生能整体串联本单元的知识点。 二

通过图片和上下文理解新句子：Football needs teamwork.等

多媒体课件、教学软件光盘、卡通人物卡片、单词卡片。

教学步骤

Step1 ; Warm up/Review （1）GreetingT: Good …

，children. S: Good …, Mrs Xu.

T: Nice to see you again. S: Nice to see you, too. （2）复习单词：younger，older，taller，shorter，longer，thinner，heavier，bigger，smaller，stronger。（学生拼读单词；说出单词的原形）

（3）活动：正反话（比一比谁说得快。）如：

T:Jack is older than Sam. S: Sam is younger than Jack. …

(4) Free talk : T：How tall are you？

S：I’m…

T: How heavy are you？

S:I’m…

T: Can you play football? S: Yes, I can./NO, I can’t. T: Many people love football game. And many animals love football game ,too.

T：(出示Zoom 、Zip头像) Zoom and Zip want to make a football team . But they need a member. What do they need?Who can answer me? Who will get the ball? Let’s have a match .Let’s begin. This part is boy team. That part is girl team.

Step2:

Presentation

1、播放动画，学生初步了解story time大意，教学新词。

（1）What do they need? -----Football player？goalkeeper? （2）Who want to be the goalkeeper?

（3）（出示课件，认读释义）goalkeeper，wait for，

catch the ball，excellent，teamwork。

2、带着问题跟读原文读音，回答问题。

(1)T:How tall is Mr Deer？(板书) S: He is 1.8 meters. T: How heavy is he?（板书）

S: He is 86 kilograms. T:Yes , he is tall and heavy. (2) T:How tall is Mr Zebra？

S: He’s ten centimeters taller than Mr Deer. (教师带读，学生跟读。) T: SO he can’t become the goalkeeper.

(3)T: Can Mr Zebra catch the ball？

S:No,he can’t catch the ball. (教师带读，学生跟读。) (4)T:Who is the tallest one?

S:Mr Giraffe is the tallest one.(讲解tallest的用法)

(5)T: Is the Hippo heavy？

S:Yes，he is heavy.

（6）T:Who can become the goalkeeper？Why? S:Hippo. He is almost bigger than the goal.( 板书) T:Football needs teamwork. （板书）

T:He is an excellent goalkeeper.

Step3：巩固拓展。

学生齐读story time。

（2）

小组表演。

Step4：小结。
