教学目标：

一、教学目标：

1.能理解对话内容，能够分角色朗读对话。

2.通过阅读本篇课文，初步了解方位介under，in，behind，next to，on的意义及用法。并能用这几个方位介词对事物的方位进行简单的描述。

3.通过理解本篇内容，进一步懂得保护小动物也是热爱大自然的表现之一。

4.激发学生热爱大自然，爱护小动物的热情。

教学重点：

理解对话，分角色朗读对话。方位介词意义的理解和运用。

教学难点：

1.branches，squirrel的发音。

2.rest，in the branches，friendly的意义。

教学课时：第三课时

教学过程：

Step 1. Warming-up 情境导入，激发兴趣，复习旧知

1.Teacher play the video：Where is Mr Monkey：

Students sing along with it （此处使用PPT 第2页）

Where is Mr Monkey？___________________ 播放第二次，生自己跟着视频演唱。

Step 2 Presentation 1 师出示人物图片，生看图片进行猜想。师根据学生猜想讲图片贴在黑板上。（此处使用PPT 第3页）

T：who's he/she？

Where are they ?

What are they doing?guess

What can you find in the picture? How’s the weather? How do you feel? How do they feel? 2 师播放教学视频（此处使用PPT 第4,5页）

Ask：Are they tired?

How do they feel?

What does Maomao need?

What does Mike do? Students think about the questions and answer. Play one more time. Students think: What does Mike need? Show the word toilet.（此处使用PPT 第6页）

Where are Mike and Lingling? Teacher ask what is it ? Show them the rock.

Ask two of the students put the rocks on the right place.（此处使用PPT 第7页）

3.Play the third time, students read after the video.(此处使用PPT 第8页）

4.Teacher show them the animal. Ask what are they?(此处使用PPT 第9页）

Play the video, ask them listen carefully and put the animal in the right place on the work sheets.(此处使用PPT 第10页）

Ask them finish the work after listening. Ask some of them stick the birds on the right place. T: Where are the birds?

S: in the branches. T stick the phrase in the branches on the blackboard. 4T: Where is the squirrel? Let them stick it on the right place.(此处使用PPT 第11,12页）

Ask: Where is it?

S : It’s behind the big branch/ tree. T: Play the video, students read after it. (此处使用PPT 第13页）

5 T: Do you like the squirrel? (此处使用PPT 第14,15页）

The squirrel run away? What should we do?

6. Then, teacher plays the whole text. Students read in groups and show the text. (此处使用PPT 第16页）

Step 3 Practice Read and write.

T：Have the children read the passage by themselves with two questions.

“What is about this passage?”

“What can we do to protect the environment?”

T：Have the children write the words that in the dialog and fill in the blanks.

Check the answers. Step 4 Production Listen, choose, and trace.（使用PPT 第18页）

T: What is behind me?

Students guess. Show them the little cats. Stick one in the branches. Ask: Where is the little cat? S answer.

Stick one more, ask where is it? Behind the tree. Finish the exercise on the paper. Teacher check the answers. Step 5
