This is the third period of M 2 U1 . The difference between the attributive clause and the non-restrictive attributive clause and what is the non-restrictive attributive clause are the main content in this part . Students have mastered the usage of “ that , which , which .who , whose , where , when , why , prep. + which \ whom ” through the learning of M1 U4 and M1 U5. 教学目标

学情分析

Through the study of M1, the students have some vocabulary , some language skills and some useful structures ,

they also have mastered some usage of the attributive clause：that , which , which .who , whose , where , when , why ,prep. + which \ whom .But they can’t use them freely, correctly and properly in their daily life .

Step 1Revision

1.Review the text by asking the students a few questions and deal with the words and expressions in the text by finishing Ex1on P3. 2.Students find the words in the text with the help of the meanings.

Step 2 Lead in

Present a picture of a casket, tell the students that the article in it was lost and ask them to guess what it was using the structure “Is it something that ……?”

Students give out some sentences

Step 3Comparison 1.Give out one page of diary and ask the students to tell the difference between the two groups of the attributive clause.

2.Students tell the difference between the two groups of the attributive clause. Step 4Comparison 1.Let students try to find all the attributive clauses from the text and understand the meaning of them. 2. 本节课的课后作业是要求学生把课后的练习完成并交给老师，检测本节课的知识点学习。
