教学内容分析

本单元是选修九的第四单元，本单元的话题是“自然界中的植物及植物探索的历史”，内容涉及“18世纪和19世纪的植物探索”，“花朵及其动物传媒”等。本节课时内容主要学生在学完第一课时的阅读后，对一些单词和短语的学习、巩固和应用。

二．教学目标

A. 知识与技能

Get students to learn the useful new words and expressions in this part 2.

Let students learn the knowledge of some flowers. 3.

Words: lower, appeal, fluency, tight, distant 4.

Phrases: result in, appeal to, date back to B.过程与方法

本节课的教学活动主要采用小组合作的方式，激发学生的合作意识和团队精神。

六．教学过程

Step 1. Lead—in

Show some pictures to students about flowers, talk about them. Then ask students to answer questions by the teacher.（设计意图：以问答方式引出本节课时的内容）

Step 2. Presentation—teamwork 1)

answer the Chinese meanings of each word. 2)

Ask students to recall some phrases.

Step 3. Word study

First learn new words and expressions, then practice them by teamwork. Next, ask students to read and make up a sentences using what they have learnt in this period, and then translate each other’s sentences. For example, lower, appeal, tight, fluency, distant, date back to , appeal to, result in….(设计意图：强化学生对单词的掌握和记忆)
