T:I think so. Look at this picture. Let’s chant together. 2. Let’s chant. Two eyes, Two ears, One nose, One mouth, One me! T: Look, here are so many dolls on the picture. Today we will learn Unit8 Dolls. 设计意图：从学情来看，之前已经学过这首歌曲，歌曲里包含了一些身体部位和五官，学生已经有能力进行猜测。我用字母拼凑出一个男孩的脸，这样在增加趣味性的同时，充分发挥了孩子的想象力，他们会将J猜成an umbrella,a banana... 这其实是一个非常好的搜索词库的过程，唤起了孩子的长期记忆。对于这个男孩的评价，孩子们会说：He’s cool...赞美，其实已经产出了这节课的一个语言点He’s...。简单的歌谣将五官词汇串联在一起，简单好记，符合四年级学生认知特点。

Step 2: Presentation 1. Task 1: Watch and answer（词不离句）搭建支架

T: Look,the students are sharing their favourite dolls.

What body parts do they talk about? Let’s watch! T: OK,what body parts do they talk about? S1:eyes,ears,nose,mouth,... T: Yes,you are right.

T：What do you think of the dolls? S1: How nice! S2: She’s pretty... T:Good. Now let’s listen . Ss:She’s beautiful. He’s cool. T:Here she’s= she is.

2.Task 2:

Listen and judge 听录音，判断两个娃娃的描述是否正确。（Yes/No）

1.Her eyes are big.

2.Her nose is

big

Tip: 当讨论女性所属的东西时，使用her(她的), 如: her nose;当讨论男性所属的东西时，使用his(他的),如: his eyes。

设计意图：听是语言输入的一种有效途径。在听的过程中，渗透了原汁原味的句型。判断题的练习让学生更明确了两组反义词的意义，big与small, long与short. T:Can you say more about the dolls? 小组合作，说出更多的关于娃娃的描述。

设计意图：对于女娃娃的描述反馈。采取的检查方式是挖空填空的形式，难度降低，旨在练习句型Her... is/are...

About the boy: Tip: His... is/are...

设计意图：在已经练习了描述女娃娃的基础上，对于男娃娃的描述，根据图片提取特征，难度在逐步增大。采取小组合作的方式，在集体的合作下完成任务。

Task 3: listen and repeat. 设计意图：模仿语音语调，学习纯正的英语。

4. Task 4: Let’s read.以小组为单位，选择一种喜欢的方式阅读课文。

Task 5: Let’s draw and say. Work in groups. 小组合作，在纸上画出娃娃的头像。画完后，说一说他们的特征。比一比哪一组的描述又全面又准确。

设计意图：旨在检测学生能否把学过的语言知识灵活地运用到真实的语言情境中。



【作业设计】

1.Read and imitate Story time for 3 times, and try to recite. 认真朗读模仿故事3遍，并背诵。

2.Describe the features of your partner with each other.用今天所学内容和你的同桌互相描述一下彼此的五官吧。
