Students figure out the underlined words meaning first, then find the same ones of this unit to replace.

Students complete the passage with the words below in their proper forms. Teacher correct. Step 4: Discover useful structures

a. Students find and underline the sentences in the passage that use –ing forms as either the subject or object.

b. Teacher show them the correct answer and lead in some common structures that use –ing forms as either the subject or object. Let students to observe them and find out the rules. c. Choose some students to rewrite the following sentences using the –ing form as the subject on the blackboard. d. Teacher correct. Step 5: Exercise

a. Firstly, students write doing or to do over the correct group. Then write the verbs in the box in their correct columns.
