Pete the Cat Too Cool For School

一．

教材分析

本节课的授课内容为绘本故事Too Cool For School,是一节英语绘本故事教学。

该书为I Can Read分级阅读中的Pete the Cat系列。

故事讲述了Pete猫想要穿得酷酷的去上学，自己拿不定主意，就去向朋友们取经。Pete 居然把朋友们建议的搭配都穿到了自己的身上，他变成了非常滑稽的模样。最终，他穿上了自己喜欢的衣服去上学。这个故事告诉我们，要勇于做自己。

本节课要求学生能够在掌握服饰类词汇shirt,pants,shorts,socks, boots,tie,hat,sunglasses和句型Wear the .../Put on .../It’s my favorite.的基础上，把握故事大意。能够在图片的帮助下猜测polka-dot, stripes, cowboy,silly的含义，在理解的基础上能够用自己的语言复述故事，并能够读出故事的寓意。

二． 学情分析

本节课的授课班级为武汉瑞景小学四年级1班，共48人。从该班老师获知，这个班的学生具备良好的英语学习素养，拥有较强的英语学习能力，对英语绘本阅读拥有浓厚的兴趣。学生已经学习了服饰相关的词汇和句型，能够用简单的英语句子来表达自己的观点，且具备较强的思维能力和创造力。

三． 教学目标

1.语言能力

学生能读懂故事情节，把握故事大意，能用自己的语言复述故事。

2.学习能力

学生能通过小组合作探究，完成对故事情节的自学、理解和复述。

3.思维品质

学生能够通过读图，对故事的后续情节发展进行逻辑推理；能够对故事中人物的情感进行逻辑分析。

4.文化品格

通过阅读整个故事，让学生体会做人应该做自己的寓意。
