一、教学目标

（一）能力目标

1. Students can listen, speak, read and write the words: tiger ，wolf, bear, snake ,long,short,its,tail. 2. Students can use the sentences: It’s….. Its…is…

3. Students can sing the song: “Big and Small.”

（二）情感目标

培养学习英语的兴趣，能积极的学习英语，养成爱听、爱说英语的习惯。

（一）Lead in导入

1. Greeting. 2. Review.What’s this? Is’s a monkey. The elephant is big. The cat is small. (二)New concepts

Step1 : Teach the new words： tiger, wolf, bear, snake,long,short,tail，its. T: Look, this is a wolf. 在四线格里板书wolf, 领读并安排学生不同形式的读，

T:Look, who is coming? 引出tiger S: 板书并领读

T: What do you see? I see a tiger T:Is it thin? Ss: No. It’s fat. Riddle: It’s brown or black. 学生试着猜一猜。

It’s very fat.引出bear 板书并领读，生拼读，用手盖上字母“b”,帮助学生记忆。

Step2:Teach the sentences(出示图片，说一说每个动物一些身体部位的特征。) Its nose is long. Its tail is short. Step 3: Pair work:Practise in pairs. Step 4: Let’s sing:学习歌曲《Big and Small》

(三）Homework 1.今天学的单词每个一行（6-8遍），并背会。
